This Free Complimentary Event will provide property managers, cooperatives and homeowners’ and condominium association board members and officers with information necessary to understand association insurance obligations, reconstruction, access, insurance claims and administration of insurance funds, among other insurance issues including understanding basic policy terminology, common mistakes made by community associations and the Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act of 2014.

Special appearance by Deputy Sheriff Pallotto who will give tips on “what is civil?” and “what is a police matter?”

Jay Steven Levine is the founder of Levine Law Group. With over 30 years of community association experience, Mr. Levine is active in the area of community association law, collections and litigation, having authored numerous articles and participated as a speaker in events benefitting cooperatives, condominiums and homeowners’ associations nationwide. The Firm represents over 250 associations Statewide. In addition to advising community associations as general counsel as to all matters, Mr. Levine provides legal counsel with respect to hurricane matters and insurance issues such as policy interpretation, guidance and litigation. Thomas Kallman is the owner of Kallman Insurance and has been in the industry since 1980. In addition to currently serving as a City of Weston Commissioner, Mr. Kallman owns and operates Kallman Insurance, a long-standing local business devoted to the insurance needs of the South Florida community since 1998. Mr. Kallman has published numerous articles on the topics of risk management including, but not limited to, hurricane and catastrophe claims. Mr. Kallman has also served as a guest speaker for The Governor’s Hurricane Conference and FEMA’s National Hurricane Conference.
